430 is a ferritic stainless steel used in mildly corrosive environments. The No.1 description identifies the hot-rolled, annealed and descaled surface route. Its appearance suits buyers who prioritize the material and fabrication requirements of the component. If the finished part needs a particular visual standard, identify the visible side and agree the surface acceptance requirements before ordering.

The table presents representative sample heat-analysis values transcribed from the two supplied mill certificates, expressed as mass percent. These are useful composition references, not fixed values guaranteed for every heat. The TISCO example identifies 10Cr17 under GB/T 4237-2015; the Tsingtuo example identifies SUS430 under JIS G 4304-2021. The material designation and standard for your order must match its own certificate.

TISCO reference limitation: the supplied TISCO certificate explicitly restricts its material to domestic use and prohibits export. It is shown only as a historical composition reference and does not certify export stock or the photographed plates. Any export order requires documentation applicable to the actual material supplied.
Both examples are source-coil records: TISCO lists 4 × 1500 mm, while Tsingtuo lists 3 × 1525 mm. Source-coil width and finished plate width are different dimensions. The heat number on the photographed 3 × 1500 × 3000 mm plate matches the Tsingtuo example. These samples do not establish the properties of all thicknesses in the quarto plate range.
A reliable plate order needs both traceable identification and checks on the delivered dimensions. Sheye reviews the grade and size marking alongside the material documents. Handheld PMI screening supports alloy identification; it does not replace the complete chemical analysis or the mechanical test results in the mill certificate.
Width and length checks confirm the prepared plate format before packing. For custom cutting, provide a dimensioned drawing and state whether the dimensions are finished sizes or include machining allowance. Agree the edge condition, flatness and dimensional tolerances needed for the next fabrication step.
Thickness is checked at more than one position. The photographs show individual checks on nominal 3 mm plate, rather than a tolerance guarantee for every plate. Acceptance is assessed against the agreed purchase specification and the applicable inspection records.
