304/304L Stainless Steel Sheet
Dual-grade 304/304L stainless steel sheet with 2B finish, paper interleaving and cut-to-length processing. Sheye coordinates suitable source material, order-specific tolerances and documented inspection.
MATERIAL, CONFIGURED FOR YOU
Start with your specification.
Sheye Metal supplies 304/304L Stainless Steel Sheet for buyers who need both grade designations documented together with a controlled finished-sheet specification. As a first-level TISCO agent, we coordinate suitable mother-coil material and process it into sheets with the agreed dimensions, finish and protection.
Our role as a 304/304L Stainless Steel Sheet Supplier includes reviewing the mill documentation, material availability, processing requirements and inspection plan. Dual-grade material is selected against the purchase specification; an ordinary 304 or 304L label alone does not establish dual certification.
Order specification
| Item | Supply and processing requirements |
|---|---|
| Material | 304/304L dual-grade stainless steel; designation verified against the mill certificate and agreed specification |
| Finish | 2B; surface acceptance requirements agreed with the order |
| Dimensions | Thickness, width and length confirmed for the requested material and processing route |
| Thickness tolerance | Numerical lower and upper limits agreed before supply |
| Protection | Paper interleaving; additional protection by agreement |
| Inspection | Dimensions, diagonals, flatness, edge condition, surface and material identity as agreed |
| Documentation | Mill material certificate and Sheye system-generated inspection report, as agreed |
| Availability | Stock and mill-coordinated material reviewed for the exact specification and destination |
304/304L Stainless Steel Sheet 2B Finish
2B is a cold-rolled finish produced through annealing, pickling and a light finishing pass. It has a relatively smooth, reflective appearance suitable for many fabricated products. Our 2B stainless steel finish guide explains this finish and the questions to include in an inquiry.
Specify paper interleaving, visible-side requirements and any further surface protection with the order. Sheye reviews the finish and handling plan alongside levelling and cutting so that surface condition remains part of finished-sheet inspection.

Custom dimensions and thickness requirements
Give the required thickness, width and length together with numerical acceptance limits. Where routine stock does not fit the order, Sheye can coordinate suitable dual-grade mother coil, including an above-nominal thickness target, subject to the mill and order review.
A documented example is a 20-tonne order for 3 × 1524 × 3048 mm sheets, with 2B finish, paper interleaving and a 2.970–3.220 mm accepted thickness range. These are the requirements of that order, not universal stock dimensions or a tolerance promised for every product. Read the 20-tonne 304/304L 2B inspection case for its production photographs and report.
304/304L Stainless Steel Sheet Manufacturer and processing support
Sheye’s manufacturing role covers the processing of mother coil into finished sheets, including levelling, cut-to-length work, inspection and protective packing. The steelmaking mill is identified on the material certificate. This lets buyers review both the source material and the finished-sheet processing responsibilities.
As a 304/304L Stainless Steel Sheet Stockist, Sheye also reviews available material against the exact order. Dual-grade designation, thickness window and surface requirements must be checked together; availability and lead time are confirmed in the quotation. See our cut-to-length capabilities for the processing route.

Inspection reports generated by Sheye’s system
Thickness, width, length, diagonals, flatness, edge burr and surface condition can be included in the agreed inspection plan. Define the limits, measurement methods and report requirements before production. Sheye records the checks and can generate an inspection report from its system for the customer to review.
The inspection report documents Sheye’s finished-sheet checks. The mill certificate provides the mill’s grade and test information. Handheld XRF PMI supports alloy verification, but carbon and the low-carbon designation require appropriate documentary or analytical evidence; XRF does not measure carbon directly. The 304L grade guide explains the material-selection and dual-certification questions.

Request the right sheet specification
Send the dual-grade requirement, standard and edition, dimensions, quantity, delivery destination and required date. Include thickness limits, squareness or diagonal criteria, flatness method and limit, edge condition, surface acceptance and paper or film requirements. Sheye will review material availability and the processing and documentation needed for your order.
