Sheye Metal supplies S32001 stainless steel plate by cutting hot-rolled coil into flat lengths. Specify the delivered plate thickness, width, length and quantity. Include the full grade designation and product standard required by the project so the mother coil and finished plate requirements can be reviewed together.
Define the finished plate geometry
The supplied surface basis is NO.1 or 1D. State dimensional tolerances, flatness and edge acceptance for the plates you intend to receive. If the material will be cut or machined into components, distinguish the purchased plate size from the finished part dimensions and include any allowance needed for that subsequent operation.
Confirm documentation and delivery
Provide the required material certificate, identification and supplementary tests at quotation stage. Where project records use another grade designation, specify the certification requirement for review before ordering. Agree the exact dimension combination and packaging around the delivered plates, including handling requirements at the destination. The final quotation should clearly identify the coil-cut production route.
