Coil inside diameter, coil weight, winding and packing to be agreed for your production line
Mill surface
2B / 2BB / BA / BA0 / 2BA
Sheye surface processing
No.4 / HL / No.3 / SB / 6K / 8K; special finishes by agreement
Specification routes
GB/T 3280 · ASTM / ASME (specification to be agreed) · JIS G4305 · EN 10088 (applicable part to be agreed)
State the exact standard number, applicable part, edition and grade in your enquiry. The quotation and mill test certificate identify the agreed specification; a reference list does not certify every combination.
2BB, BA0 and 2BA are mill finish descriptions; confirm the mill code and an agreed sample.
Pressure-purpose EN requirements need separate grade-coverage confirmation; EN 10028 is not a blanket certification claim for 430.
Mill surface codes and decorative finish names are confirmed against the agreed description or sample. Additional processing depends on the grade, thickness and required finish.
PRODUCT DETAILS
Specify 430 Stainless Steel Coil for your process
Start a 430 inquiry with the component specification and the required surface appearance. Share the forming, handling and visible-side requirements that affect material selection and protection.
Define the coil as it will enter your production line: thickness, width, inside diameter, coil weight and winding requirements. Slitting and protection are reviewed as part of the same specification.
Surface and fabrication
Provide the part requirements, desired appearance and downstream processing information for technical review.
Prepare the coil for your next process
Include finished slit width, edge and burr requirements, acceptable joints where relevant, and the way the coil will be fed and unwound. Published slitting capabilities are checked against the material and individual order.
PRACTICAL BUYING QUESTIONS
430 coil: forming and appearance requirements
What information helps select 430 coil for a forming line?
Describe the finished component and whether the operation is drawing, stretching, bending or roll forming. Include the required thickness and width, material condition and the receiving line’s coil requirements. These details connect the supply specification to how the material will be processed.
For demanding pressings, evaluate representative material on the intended tooling. Use the supply range shown on this page, then agree the actual combination of dimensions, finish and acceptance requirements.
How should surface quality be agreed for 430 coil used in visible parts?
Define the exposed face and finish, including brushing direction where applicable. Where forming may alter the appearance, assess a formed sample as well as the flat coil surface. This helps identify ridging or appearance changes before a production batch is committed.
State the handling protection and inspection requirements separately from the grade. A protective film or bright finish does not change the corrosion limits of 430.
